There are many accommodation possibilities inside the reserve; you may even stay in a campsite if you want. Lodges located in the reserve are usually very luxurious, but also quite expensive. In case you prefer sleeping in the city, you can always choose to take some of the daily tours to the reserve leaving from San Ignacio.
You don’t want to miss Caracol
So what will you find inside of Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve? Not counting a green colour everywhere around you, there is an infinite number of streams, small waterfalls, caves and Maya mounds. Caracol site is located deep in the reserve.
