The place can be reached either by motorboat (ask the local people in Corozal) or taxi. It is important to agree on a price in advance. It is a bit complicated to get into Cerros by your own car, so going with a guide is recommended. A distinct lack of directions and signs, as well as challenging terrain, can unsettle even the calmest driver.
