Near the town of Orange Walk, on the private land of a local distillery named Cuello’s Distillery Ltd., is the small site of Cuello. You have the rare chance to visit this site completely alone, since it is not a tourist hot spot, even though it is a historically significant site. The main part of the excavation at Cuello has been left open, which gives visitors an idea of how archaeologists work.
