Not very comfortable surroundings are around Kaxob… Kaxob is located in swampy areas of northern Belize. However this site hides several interesting buildings that are relatively well preserved. The highest temple measures 13 meters.
Radiocarbon dating, a method for the study of bones, showed that local people lived mainly on a vegetarian meals and rarely have eaten meat as a protein source. Apparently, it was mainly a farming community. Given the huge amount of found pottery, it is probable that locals produced it not only for their own purpose.
